Every year in mid-July the Great Circus Parade comes to Milwaukee. This treasure is not well known outside of our town, but it is definitely worth seeing once in your life. We took Megan down to the lake side park where the wagons and animals are staged days before the actual parade. The circus sets up a tent and puts on shows every day. Kids can ride camels, elephants and ponies. Petting areas include giraffes! We took Megan there for the afternoon. As usual, I took a few pictures. I used a new format for displaying the pictures on this page. It is called "slide show," but is not automatic. Note the small arrowheads on either side of the five pictures at the top of the page. If you click on one of the arrows it moves you along to the next thumbnail picture. There are about 50 pictures here. Just click on the small picture to have it blown up below. I hope you enjoy them.
